Seattle commuters can breathe a sigh of relief as new HOV lanes and ramps between the Montlake neighborhood and the state Route 520 bridge have finally opened. With over 74,000 vehicles crossing westbound 520 every day, and 30% of them using Montlake Boulevard, the need for improved traffic flow has been evident.
