Big changes are coming to the U.S. 70 Bypass around Goldsboro. The North Carolina Department of Transportation has just received the green light to re-designate the bypass as Interstate 42. This exciting project is part of their plan to upgrade U.S. 70 to interstate standards from I-40 in Wake County all the way to Morehead City.
