Belo Horizonte, Brazil - In an effort to improve the city's public transportation system, Belo Horizonte metro operating concessionaire, Metrô BH, has recently announced the purchase of 24 state-of-the-art metro trainsets from CRRC. These new trains, which are expected to start operation in the first half of 2026, will replace the older Series 900 trainsets on Line 1 and will also serve the future Line 2.
