The southern region of Brazil was hit by severe floods in April, leaving thousands of people homeless and in need of immediate assistance. In response to this humanitarian crisis, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) has teamed up with the state of Rio Grande do Sul to establish Humanitarian Reception Centers (CHA).
