TAAG airlines receives capital boost, Angola's public companies struggle

TAAG – Linhas Aéreas de Angola, the national airline of Angola, is one of the rare exceptions among the country's struggling state-owned enterprises. In 2023, TAAG received a capital boost of 120 billion kwanzas (118.4 million euros). The support was part of the government's efforts to help companies recover from the economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
